Adela Wendy Foy was born in Hong Kong October 8, 1939 and educated at the Wellington Diocesan School for Girls, New Zealand. She married on March 16, 1963, Christopher Charles Canning, son of Charles Stratford Canning of Napier, N. Z., a marriage since dissolved. There are two sons; Hugo Mark (1968) now at Massey University, N. Z., after King's College N. Z. and Sean de Radcliffe (1969) at present also at King's College.
